Regenerating a native forest

A New York Times piece on Paul Zweng, of Kāne‘ohe, Hawai‘i, describes his efforts to regenerate a native forest on two square miles of land owned by him. Included are a slideshow and three-minute video.

This slide shows a native plant, the kookoolau, now growing on Zweng’s property.
